Who We Are and What We Do
Introduction
We are a group of local people who have come together, in order to understand who is affected by flooding in Newent, and how we as a community can help.
Our mission statement
Due to the ongoing flood issue in Newent, we want to assist in identifying possible actions, and help improve the flood resilience of the town.
Aim of this website
Our group have discovered that multiple information sources and multiple government and local agencies have a variety of responsibilities when it comes to water management.
The aim of this website is to bring together as much Newent specific information into one place as a guide and reference for all residents of Newent to use.
We would like to reach out to the Newent community, and for anyone who has an interest in supporting the town in water management issues – please get in touch.
